WORKING WITH BRYAN
THE LOUDOUN COUNTY MARKET
SOTHEBY'S INTERNATIONAL REALTY
Bryan is a licensed REALTOR® and a lifelong real estate investor who has owned and managed properties in Loudoun County for decades. He didn't come to real estate through a training program — he came through 40+ years of living, investing, and building wealth in this market. His formal entry into professional real estate practice brings that personal investment experience together with the leadership and analytical skills he developed running a multi-million dollar federal consulting enterprise.
Bryan holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Virginia Tech — two of the most respected institutions in the Commonwealth. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Capital Planning Professional, credentials earned in the demanding world of federal IT and program management. He approaches every client engagement with the same rigor he applied in environments where precision wasn't optional.
Most agents are trained to move transactions. Bryan is trained to think — about risk, about timing, about long-term outcomes. As a strategic advisor, he helps clients define what they truly want before a single property is toured or listed. He asks the questions that slow the process down in the right ways: What does this move make possible? What are the financial and lifestyle tradeoffs? What's the exit strategy? That kind of thinking comes from 25+ years of advising federal executives on high-stakes decisions — and it's exactly what clients navigating major life transitions deserve.
Bryan's coaching orientation means he works to expand your perspective, not just manage your paperwork. He believes the best real estate decisions are made by informed, confident clients — not clients who are rushed, overwhelmed, or deferring to whoever talks the loudest in the room. His job is to make sure you understand your options, trust your instincts, and feel prepared at every stage. That's a very different dynamic than the typical agent-client relationship, and it's intentional.
Bryan Crittenton is a REALTOR® with Hunt Country Sotheby's International Realty in Leesburg, Virginia — and his path to real estate is unlike almost anyone you'll meet. For more than 25 years, Bryan served as the Founder and CEO of Crittenton Consulting Group, Inc. (CCGI), a federal management consulting and IT firm he built from the ground up to serve civilian agencies, the Department of Defense, and law enforcement organizations across the country. He brings that same executive discipline — strategic planning, risk analysis, precision execution — directly to his real estate practice. For clients who want a trusted advisor, not just a transaction manager, Bryan offers something rare.
